The Place: Sweet Academy is a space designed 100% for children from an early childhood development perspective. Whether you drop your child off for yoga, reading support,  art, mindfulness, or just to "stay and play," my goal is that your child will leave feeling seen and heard.

About Me: I have been a kindergarten teacher since 2005 in Mystic, CT, my hometown! I would like to enhance the community in which I grew up by offering thoughtful classes/workshops for children that are fun but also educational. I developed this idea with my late mother, daughter of local fisherman, who taught me how to appreciate the beauty of my town and also nurture the childhood spirit.

The Method: Designing a space around each child's needs will provide opportunity for each child to develop a sense of self and practice the skills they need to attain a well adjusted , well rounded, wellness perspective, that values the uniqueness in every child. Each class will include a multifacited and multibenficial approach, with varying areas of focus. Parental suggestion is always encouraged.
